Connecting with a horse is a lot like continuously passing certainty back and forth.

Sometimes one of us is very certain that we are uncertain and we pass the mic to the other.

I asked a question today about sand. It led to a story of a man who was so certain he was uncertain, he passed the mic to his horse. From it came a mystical experience. A story of love, and letting go. A certainty the horse had to have before the man could find it within himself.

You know they say when you hold a horses hoof, you hold their heart in the palm of your hand?

I’m starting to believe you hold their spirit, too.

This week the Cosmos called in a Monsoon and heaven rained down on us through tear filled eyes and open hearts, and for a moment we were all certain.

Certain of our love for the horses who have blessed our lives.
